    friendly staff
    scenic harbor
    third floor stairs

Had an awesome time with my friends! We loved our stay and enjoyed exploring the local shops and the scenic harbor with over 1000 boats. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were super friendly. The atmosphere was chill and safe, making it perfect for our group outing.

One downside was the room being on the third floor with only stairs to access it. It was a bit of a workout, especially after long days.

    spacious room
    peaceful vibe

Our stay in the carriage house was cozy. We made the most of the hiking trails and loved the peaceful vibe while exploring. Despite the rain, we enjoyed walking around town. The spacious room surprised us upon entry!

Felt taken care of, nothing too much trouble.

    would definitely book here again

Super cute place with a historic vibe. We stayed in the Carriage House Room, which had a flat-screen TV and a comfy mattress. The bathroom was small but had enough toiletries. Breakfast was simple with bagels and good coffee. The rooftop deck has nice views for chilling out. Free parking is available, but it can get tight.

    would stay here again

The location is fantastic, just a 6 min walk from the center. Our room in the Carriage House was spacious, quiet, and filled with natural light. Breakfast had a nice selection, and coffee and tea were available all day. Plus, there’s free parking. Great service from attentive staff.

    charming inn
    comfortable bed
    good coffee
    small shower
    tight parking
    cold mornings

I had a lovely time at the Yankee Peddler Inn. The location is fantastic, just a quick walk to downtown Newport. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed that made for great sleep. Breakfast had plenty of options, including hot coffee that really hit the spot. I appreciated the nice little kitchen area by the front desk, always stocked with snacks. However, the parking situation was a bit tight, typical for Newport. There were some chilly mornings, and I wished the heat worked a bit better. The shower was also small but had decent water pressure. Overall, it was a charming stay, but they could use a little updating in some areas.

    cozy seating
    fresh muffins

We enjoyed relaxing in the cozy rooftop seating area and appreciated the fresh muffins at breakfast. The room was comfortable and very clean, perfect for unwinding after our day out. The only downside was the bathroom being a bit on the small side, but it didn't ruin our lovely experience! 😊

    missing iron

Cute inn with lots of character, great location near everything historical, and comfy atmosphere. The rooftop deck is perfect for a quiet morning coffee!

No iron in the room—what am I supposed to do, wear a crumpled ball gown?

    complimentary wine

    crowded parking
    steep stairs

I enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates in our room. The roof porch provided a nice view in the evenings. The manager was professional and made us feel at ease during our stay.

The parking lot was crowded. The stairs might pose an issue for anyone with mobility challenges.

    strong coffee
    solid breakfast
    excellent location
    low shower pressure

We had an amazing group vacation and explored the local harbor, where we saw everything from small sailing boats to stunning mega-yachts. The location was perfect—close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was solid, with a good selection and strong coffee. Just a heads up for future guests, consider a room in the main house for better amenities.

Only downside was the shower pressure in our room. we had to stand pretty close to get a good rinse, which was a bit inconvenient.

    Cozy stay with family vibes

We loved the staff, super friendly and felt like family! Always had fresh cookies and good tips for food spots. The place was chill and peaceful, but watch out for those ants in the room. No coffee maker or fridge, which was a bit of a bummer. Breakfast was awesome with real porridge and fruit!
